A host of Premier League sides are said to be after the 18-year-old midfielder who has greatly impressed for the Tractor Boys. According to the Mirror, Liverpool are in pole position to land the youth prodigy for a fee said to be around the £10m.
A huge fee for a player who has only played 18 matches for Ipswich, Rodgers and Liverpool must feel comfortable in spending such a fee on a player who is yet to try his pedigree at the top level.
Meanwhile, fellow team-mate, Tyrone Mings is also on the radar at Arsenal. The left back has also impressed for Ipswich who are high and flying in the Championship this season.
