Barcelona midfielder, Xavi has revealed to the Metro that if he could sign someone for Barcelona, it would be Arsenal midfielder, Santi Cazorla.
The 34-year-old midfielder, who was key to the prizing of Cesc Fabregas away from the Emirates in 2011, has wasted no time in talking up Cazorla after the Gunners playmaker starred in the recent 2-0 win at Manchester City.
Xavi said: ‘There is some great Spanish football talent around. Who would I sign for Barcelona? [David] Silva and Cazorla.’
Cazorla, 30, is under contract at the Emirates until 2016, by which point he would be 32. Would Barcelona be interested in a 32-year-old midfielder?
If you’re good enough for Barcelona, then age shouldn’t be a factor – just look at Xavi.
Arsenal will need to keep a hold of their star man.
