Chelsea are said to be holding out for a minimum of £30m for German midfielder, Andre Schurrle according to Sky Sports.
Speculation has been surrounding Schurrle in recent months and according to a source close to the player, it was said ‘It’s a waiting game there are lots of rumours circulating and we do not like to take part in it’.
Schurrle, who joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2013, has been linked with a return to the Bundesliga since the transfer window opened earlier this month and Wolfsburg seem to be the potential suitors.
With only five league starts since August, it is no wonder why the German is unhappy at Stamford Bridge. The World Cup winner was in spectacular form in Brazil last summer but it didn’t seem to be enough to earn Schurrle a call up to the first team. If Chelsea are to lose him, it will be a huge loss – but for £30m, it would be good business all round.
Will Schurrle depart in the transfer window this January, if he does, where will he end up?
