The 22-year-old Egyptian joined the Blues this summer from Basel for a fee said to be around £11m. The young winger has shown glimpses of the quality he possesses in the 13 games he has played for the Blues, but it seems he hasn’t shown enough to Jose Mourinho.
Salah has now moved to Italy to get some more first team football under his belt, a move that will benefit all parties. Additionally, the deal featuring Salah is said to help make room for the big name signing of Juan Cuadrado who moves in the other direction.
As Salah looks to fill the huge boots of the Colombian, he will want to hit the ground running in Italy.
