Sky Sports News HQ have revealed pictures of Carlton Cole arriving at West Bromwich Albion’s training ground. The 31-year-old forward is vastly experienced and will add firepower to West Brom’s strike force.

Cole began his professional career in the Chelsea youth academy and played 25 Premier League games for the Blues, scoring 4 times. During that time, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic and Aston Villa took the 6ft 3in striker on loan.

In July 2006, West Ham United agreed a deal to bring Carlton Cole to Upton Park, a club where he established himself as a good Premier League forward. Cole has played 248 league matches for the Hammers, scoring 55 goals. However he has struggled to net more than 10 goals a season, only managing it once in the 2011/12 campaign in which West Ham played in the Championship.

Despite this, Carlton Cole is seen as a good addition to new West Brom boss Tony Pulis’ squad as he looks to change the Midlands club fortunes. West Brom fans, are you happy to sign the 7 capped England international? Will he find goals at The Hawthorns?
