Chelsea attacking midfielder, Andre Schurrle is moving closer to a big money move to Bundesliga side, Wolfsburg according to BBC Sport.
The two clubs are finalising a deal and the 24-year-old German international’s switch will hopefully bring Juan Cuadrado’s arrival to Stamford Bridge closer.
The Colombia winger, 26, is set to complete a £23.3m transfer from Italian club Fiorentina to Chelsea before the deadline closes.
Cuadrado has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League leaders and passed a medical.
However, it will not be just Schurrle departing, Mohamed Salah will exit the Blues on loan and join Fiorentina on loan as part of the Cuadrado deal.
Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella said: “It was a sale that had to be done. The club has done the right thing because we are also getting a very good player.
“Naturally, we need to understand how long Salah will need to adapt to our football as it’s different from the English and Swiss leagues.
“From a defensive standpoint, Cuadrado guarantees us a lot more than Salah. I’m happy for him because he is going to a big club.”
Will the deal be done in time?
