Slazenger Heritage Gold Bing Lambswool Cardigan.
Earler this year saw the release of two Slazenger messenger bags and it was only a matter of time until a full range of clothing hit the stores. Much in the vain of Fila Gold it offers track-tops, tank tops and polo’s, although it takes a little more of it’s influence on the cricket field than the tennis court. The cardigan above is one of the picks and is available from Hip Leeds for £70
Paul Weller To Design For Pretty Green.
Paul Weller has spoken to the NME which has become little more than a gossip magazine, about the possibility of designing some pieces for Liam Gallagher’s clothing label Pretty Green. As boring as the concept is for Pretty Green, with Liam stating he only started it because he could never find clothes he liked, it seems to have done well in it’s first year and clearly floppy hats and mundane logo sporting v-necks are still relevant.
The Mod icon Weller has stated that he’s ‘got designs for suits, jackets, shoes’ and in a lovely scene of mutual appreciation it seems fitting that the name of the brand is a song by The Jam.
All Saints Bank Holiday Promotion.
Take advantage of this offer to get some amazing leathers and t-shirts at %25 off. Although I’m not the biggest fan of some of their designs, they do have a habit of creating some really fashion forward looks that are still accessible. My advice would be to snap this beautiful leather up while it’s cheap!![]()
Trend. Shirt Layering.
This trend has been cropping up in the styling of campaigns this summer and it’s quite an interesting one. It can work quite well, and the above styling for AllSaints of a chambray shirt over a checked one might just breath life into the tired checks. As long as the muted shirt is worn over the top and the no-one dares attempt check on check this could look good. You could just cheat and buy this double layer one that they’ve actually done for you that is in the picture above too.

Rick Owens ‘Pillow Talk’ Interview For Nowness.
Designer Rick Owens talks to Nowness about his latest exhibition at Salon 94 in 12 East 94th Street New York. Speaking about parallels between design of his clothing collections and his furniture collections its an interesting interview. You can read it here.

Trend: Fisherman Jackets.
Although it should be warm by now, jackets are still an essential, especially after the sun goes down and luckily, this summer a trend for lightweight fisherman jackets has emerged. They aren’t bulky and I like their length. My favorite is the Suit ‘Felix’ jacket. Suit were formed in 2004 and specialise in modernising classic pieces. The jacket comes in four different colours and the Royal blue, which is my favorite, is exclusive to Number Six.
Photographic Youth Music Culture Archive.
On the Photographic Youth Music Culture Archive website, you will find pictures from ranging from Parisian beatniks to acid house ravers. Not just pictures, but video footage, lists of relevant things at the time and essays. It’s amazing.
Farah 1920 Premium Collection.
To celebrate 90 years of being in business, Farah has announced the arrival of a premium collection named after the year the company was founded. Synonymous for so long for their iconic slacks, the brand has had a resurgence amongst a younger crowd in recent years for it’s retro polo’s and slim leg trousers. The collection will be limited to 90 pieces per item and will be available at London Selfridges in September. Image via Dazed Digital.
Reiss 1971 Nautical Stripe T-Shirt.
This t-shirt from the Reiss 1971 range caught my eye because the length of the sleeves is slightly longer than usual. This can either mean you can create definition without showing too much bicep by rolling the sleeves creating a capped effect or you can just leave them longer than usual. This t-shirt would go great with some slim chinos this summer.
New Styles At Oki-Ni.
Continuing their brilliant feature in which they put together outfits in imaginative and always beautiful ways a lot of the quite forward styles they stock are put into context and you can see that they work really well. There are 6 new looks on there now for you to check out here.
Opening Ceremony Dip-Dye Cargo Shorts.
Although exclusive to their American online store at the moment, there is every chance that one of the online boutiques in fair old Britain shall start to stock these ready for the summer. Cargo shorts are usually shapeless, horrible things, yet these are truly stunning. The dip-dye is going to be big in summer, mostly with t-shirts and shirts, but with a plain vest, these would be amazing.
Humor ‘Dean’ Slim Pant.
These slim trousers from Humor are amongst the most subtle of their designs. Synonymous with their drop crotch, arc jeans, these trousers are a really nice cut and bridge the gap between smart and casual really nicely, something I couldn’t imagine the brand doing.
