Gone are the days when you actually had to step foot inside a store to buy your favourite designer threads and I’m not just talking about online shopping. Ralph Lauren is helping to change the way in which we shop by introducing a 24-hour interactive shopping window outside his London flagship store in New Bond Street specifically for his Wimbledon range. Last year, Lauren sign a five-year contract to be the official outfitter for the tennis tournament.
To celebrate his second year, the label installed a 78-inch touch screen allowing customers to browse and purchase items. Contact details are entered into the system to arrange delivery, however no payment is made via the screen; a store representative will contact you the following day to complete the transaction.
Too scary for you? The Wimbledon range is also available in selected Ralph Lauren stores and online at Polo.com.

Look fashionable on the battlefield without giving away your position to the enemy or hurting your wallet – Maharishi is having a sale, with up to 50% off of their catalogue. I’ve picked out a couple of choice items that I really like, but the sale is pretty extensive – there seems to be an (army) surplus of it. Lame joke. Great sale.
This Suns Biker jacket (£125 shown) is a bargain, reduced from £250. It’s getting warmer, I know, but really, how long does a British Summer last? All of five minutes? Plus this will still look great next Autumn.
I was going to feature and purchase this sweet t-shirt but, alas, it’s sold out, which goes to show that you should really be heading over there yourself and snapping up whatever you can. Also, check out the denim department which doesn’t form part of the main sale but nevertheless has some excellent half-price items like these awesome Japanese inspired jeans, reduced to £60.

Burberry’s latest ad campaign features the cream of British beauty and talent in a series of glamourous black and white pictures. Christopher Bailey chose to juxtapose Agyness Deyn, Lily Donaldson and Keira Gormley with Patrick Wolf, Larrikin Love and members of the Paddingtons and the View.
“The British medieval mood of the show was the starting point to
this campaign, where our British models, Agyness, Lily, Kiera, and
Georgia, meet today’s young talented British musicians against a
backdrop of an iconic argyle and Prorsum horse motif wallpaper,” said
Bailey.
Photographed by Mario Testino, the black and white shoot is set in
an English townhouse. Face of Burberry, Kate Moss was a notable absence
from the shoot, however Bailey maintains that she is still very much a
part of the Burberry family. See after the jump for more images.

Vans are essentially a sports shoe, designed to take the rough and tumble associated with aggressive skating. That fact doesn’t stop them looking darn good though. Just check out these Vans TNT II. They’ve got the classic Van shape but have apparently been "upgraded" with a new type of sole that means they’ll stand up to even more of a battering. If you’re not keen on these, then these Vans Era (£34.99) which are becoming very popular, may be more to your taste.
On a final note, if you’re a proper skate head, the Vans UK Team will be making an appearance in Brighton on 21st June (This Thursday) and they’ll be giving you the opportunity to skate with them as well as the chance to win top prizes in their Ollie comp. Check out the Vans diary for more info.

Rapha, the respected "road racing" (that’s cycling in normal terms) clothes maker and Paul Smith (who needs no introduction) have teamed up to produce a small, but perfectly formed, range of cycling apparel.
The first release from this range is this rather smart racing jersey (£175) which commemorates Le Grand Départ of the Tour de France. It’s made from 100% Sportwool which is wool, but apparently it stops you from smelling when you sweat!
The end of June will see Rapha-Paul Smith racing caps becoming available, although details and prices have yet to be divulged.

This summer English Heritage are offering you the chance to unleash your inner medieval knight, Viking or Saxon. At a number of sites around the country you can practice a variety of activities from archery and sword play to juggling! You can also take a step back and watch aerial displays from WWII or gruesome medieval surgery. Prices for the activities aren’t more than an affordable £8 so it could be a brilliant alternative to a stag do, or just a chance to do some boy-bonding.

Aussie Bum have recently released their new range of swimwear – and great it is too. I’ve highlighted the boardies shown (£23) for two reasons. For one, I really like them – simple that one. The other reason is that they’re boardies. The rest of Aussie Bum’s swimwear range is "package enhancing" Speedos.
And unless you’re one of the models showing off their "enhanced package" on the website or a professional swimmer, then Speedos are never a good look! Apart from the swimwear, Aussie Bum do some fantastic t-shirts, footwear and accessories. Check out their main website.

Since debuting at the Paris Men’s Fashion Week in 2004, designer and photographer Kim Jones has collaborated with and produced clothing ranges with designers such as Marios Schwab, Mulberry and Isetan.
One of the more recent collaborations has been with sportswear retailer Umbro. Jones’s collaboration has seen a sports range that’s rather more refined than your average McKenzie tat and is a lot more unique than ubiquitous Nike gear.
Out of the range I’ve chosen this "shadow-blue" hoodie (£65). I love the design, but it was the detachable arms that did it for me! Wear down on the track, but it may be a bit too good for just getting sweaty in!

If you don’t fancy looking quite so conspicuous as this, but need a handy waterproof for this Summer’s festival season, look no further than this spy-tastic Sevetyseven lightweight camo jacket (£55). Black with a subtle camo-leaf print, its non-reflective 100% polyester mesh will keep you nice and dry but, more importantly, hidden from view. Perfect for hiding from the enemy, burglarizing and stalking your fave celebrity.

Since the advent of the "lad" all those years ago, beer has really only meant one thing to men – lager. So there’s always been Guinness on the radar but for a while that was the only alternative we’ve had in a market saturated with over-aerated pints-of-piss. Fortunately, over the past couple of years we’ve started to see an influx of foreign and specialist brews flowing into our pubs.
This has mostly come in the form of Belgian beers and their wonderfully weird and diverse range. Quinn’s pub, in Camden, for instance, stocks close to three hundred different European beers, half of which are Belgian. Suddenly drinking beer is no longer just an arbitrary thing to do as a man upon entering a pub. You can refine your palette, making a choice between a German doppelbock or the many Belgian Trappist brews. You can even have a robust English ale that comes in limited casks. This week however, I’ll be reviewing a Scottish beer. And bloody nice it is too.

Global warming, exploitation of foreign workers, huge multinationals muscling out smaller retailers. The consumer market it fraught with horror stories concerning the destruction of our planet and the abuse of human resources. So, taking a leaf out of the book of our sister site Hippy Shopper, I have come up with a few ethically sourced items that should ease your mind a little when it comes to the woes of the world.

Okay, let me stop you now. Yes, the company is called Bonér, and yes, it does have allusions to what I wake up with every morning (and I’m not talking morning breath). But, according to the website, it means a lot more than that. Either way, Bonér is a great new clothing company originally conceived in Rome.
They have ranges for both boys and girls but, for obvious reasons, I can only pass judgment on the guy stuff (hint: I’m a boy). I absolutely love their prints, especially the Reaper Tee ($30/£15) shown above. Apart from their ethos, the other thing I like about Bonér is that all their clothes come in limited runs. The Reaper itself comes in a range of only 30 tees. See, originality and style doesn’t have to cost the earth!

Men can be divided into roughly three groups. Boxers, briefs and jockeys. No, they’re not allusions towards different professions, but the type of underwear we sport ‘neath our trousers. You do have your "fringe" groups though – the type that wear giant, holey y-fronts or tiny cartoon character pants, but we won’t discuss them now…
Personally, I’m a boxers man – they’re comfy and loose, letting me swing free n’ lo. But recently I’ve been thinking. If, by some chance, I get lucky with the opposite sex in the future, will she appreciate my gingham-style cheapo boxers from Next? Hmmm… possibly not. So I could do a lot worse than procure my self a pair of HOM briefs or jockeys. They’re actually a good looking range of pants (I can’t believe I just wrote that) more so than Calvin Klein’s. Personally my favourites are the Vintage Sports (£16.99) available in black and white. I bet they don’t make your abs look like they do in that picture…

Trainers. Sneakers. Runners. By which ever name name you know them, they can be pretty expensive. Even some of the ones I’ve written about before cost £100. And some people consider £100 a fair price to pay! Take Nike for example. Their new releases cost up to £160 a pair, yet they still sell a helluva lot of trainers despite that price tag!
In any case, if you’re dying for a new pair of trainers at the end of the month, but your movie star lifestyle doesn’t match your desk monkey wage packet, then read on after the jump for some low-cost footwear that doesn’t compromise on style.
