Hey! Don’t think for one minute that I’m agreeing about the lack of menswear at LFW and the general confusion at the amount of fashion weeks (ahem!), but you should go and take a look at the rest of Sunday Best‘s most recent ‘One Leg at a Time’ cartoon. It’s pure teh fashion lolz.
On an admin tip, Man About Town magazine has the best fashion events calendar in their latest issue. It’s so useful I might even get it tattoed on one of my bumcheeks in a Reverend Peter Mullen-style protest.

Tavi, the girl-wonder-blogger with a fashion sense so incredibly brilliant I feel like crying when I ‘m reading her blog, has found this picture and decided that she wants to marry the wearer of this great, gold jacket.
I’m okay with just being his friend but it is an undoubtedly fantastic image.
Now, the only question is where to find that jacket.

One of the few pictures from the Sartorialist’s London visit has surfaced and it’s a wonderful piece of British nostalgia. The tasselled loafers look great with the mustard top and oxblood bag, like the commenters I’m not so sure about the fit of the jeans but I think we can let him off!

Say what you like about 80s football hooligans, but even while they were battering people’s heads in with metal poles, they had style. Or that’s the popular perception nowadays anyway – I’m sure they couldn’t ALL have been clad in Lacoste. Of course we don’t call this style of dress hooliwear, or whatever – it’s “terrace fashion”, sweetheart.
When We Were Casuals is a site that caters to the gentleman who likes his Fila, Adidas and Barbour gear. Yes, you can find Reebok Classics there, but you can also get some slightly more unusual bits and bobs – howsabout a Christy’s Deerstalker with silk lining? We’ve got a great pick of the blogs for you this week, Style Salvage Steve EJ is also thinking about quiffs, more specifically the Mozza kind who is his her current style inspiration.
Filep Motwary interviews emerging menswear designer Sotiris Georgiou, saying: “Do you understand what it means to me, seeing more people loving fashion in this depressing city I live in?” Come on Filep, Athens can’t be that bad can it? We are all looking at the hail and lightning outside the Shiny Towers window at the moment and wishing we were anywhere but London.
