Men’s boutique of the week: A Child of the Jago
By Colin Chapman on January 27th, 2009
On a lonely stretch of Great Eastern Street more likely to be seen from a speeding cab than on a casual wander, men’s boutique A Child of the Jago has been around since July 2008.
The brainchild of no less than Vivienne Westwood, Barnzley (founder of Acupuncture and Zoltar the Magnificent) and Westwood’s son Joe Corre the shop is named after a novel set in these very environs (then a notorious slum) in the 1890s.
