Wood Wood Converse update

In September we told you about the multitude of special edition and collaborated Converse that were hitting shop shelves this A/W, here’s a quick update on my pick of the lot. The Wood Wood All Star, made from mono purple suede and brandishing Wood Wood logo on the tongue is now set for release state side tomorrow from DQM. This release was originally slated for October but better late than never I say! Hopefully this will be made available in the UK soon also so If I see one, you’ll be the first to know.

The New York Times does plaid

The NY Times is showing us the way in this season of plaid with their guide to 10 ways to wear -drum roll please- …plaid. I’m not sure there really are 10 ways but maybe 3 repeated and I’ll be honest it’ll take a brave man or a Scotsman to step out in some, if not all of these outfits- but you be the judge. Dr Martens x Yohji Yamamoto Y’s

As you may be aware the original Air Sole is enjoying a resurgence in popularity. Dr Martens are back in fashion with a design that has changed little in over 60 years, though Yohji Yamamoto and his team of design wizards has tweaked the design classic with a special Y’s collection Calf High Biker Boot and 10 Eye Boot. Available in both black and blue- check out these icons of utilitarian style out after the jump.
