Topman Crop Top Calvin Klein Crop Top The year is still relatively fresh, and most of us are starting to check out 2011’s spring/summer collections in anticipation of spotting any future trends. However, sometimes you come across something that simply leaves you bemused. The Crop top is one of them. This unusual yet bold idea has shown up in look …
The latest issue of VMAN was released a few days ago and it has two, bright covers. Models Jake Madden and CJ Hancock pose in fab suits from designers Calvin Klein and Givenchy and the covers are brilliantly fresh- perfect for the economic moan-athon we are currently suffering!
CJ and Jake are the joint winners of the VMAN and Ford Model Search and from these debut covers it looks like they will go far.

We’re gearing up for an exciting day of menswear shows next Wednesday as part of London Fashion Week but in the meantime here’s our compilation of the best of the rest from New York.
Let us know what you think of the NYFW shows on our Facebook Wall, which was your favourite?
Calvin Klein have decided to move their menswear catwalk collection to New York this season instead of Milan. The company will still present their collection to retailers in Milan this coming January but the show itself will take place on the ground floor of the company’s headquarters.
Resort season is always a bit of a drag for me; overly-frivolous (yes I see the haute-couture irony) and just another season to get my head around, the jump from Calvin Klein to cruise is always too much for me. I was losing faith and Karl Lagerfeld’s show was nauseatingly frilly that the sight of a male model in pink tie-dye with quilted interlocking-Cs was enough to finish me off.
After too many torturous nights of Cotton Eye Joe and Cowboy-clad cankles, customised boots have been effectively ruined. From D&G to Calvin Klein, embellished boots have done the rounds this season and I want in on the action. My brown leather Chelsea’s have blurred into wardrobe background and now I’m looking out for glittery, brightly coloured boots without any Simon Cowell heel.
Men.Style.com have a great article on Marc Jacobs up where he addresses issue with his shows, his body and accusations of a midlife crisis. His response to the latter is “I don’t feel like I’m in crisis, and I don’t know that it’s the middle of my life”. Fair enough.
So I realise that this is the second time we ( fine, I) have looked at Hayden Christensen on a magazine cover over a relatively short time period but surely a young male celebrity who has every reason to be guarded with the use of his image but agrees to be on the cover of a men’s (non-dirty) magazine in only its second issue deserves to mentioned in our blog? Now better looking blog I might mention.
The time has come for the return of the eccentric dresser. But before you all stop reading this, firm in the belief that I have finally cracked, I promise that I am not subliminally feeding you pages from ‘An Idiot’s Guide to … being an idiot’ but instead providing you with an outfit that will allow you to get freaky without the raised eyebrows- more crinkled blazer than straight-jacket.
