Hollywood hellraiser Colin Farrell took to the red carpet at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles last night for the premiere of his new sci-flick ‘Total Recall’. Looking dapper in head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana, Farrell’s new movie is a remake of the 1990 Schwarzenegger cult classic of the same name. Chances are if you’re a Brandish reader then you’re already well aware of the importance of menswear, but today Jean Schneides in WWD did some catwalk investigating and concluded that you need to keep one on the menswear collections at all times, if you want a preview of what the womenswear collections will look like a few weeks or months later.
An epic fashion row has erupted over a pair of quilted silk trousers seen on both the D&G and Armani catwalks at the Milan menswear shows.
Armani started it all by saying: “Now they copy, later they will learn.”
January looms and you’re trying very hard to wear proper clothes again, but really there couldn’t be a better time to invest in some lovely pyjamas.
In addition to GQ’s well dressed rebel series, they are also hosting a fashion intervention for six men. Realizing there is a world of men who don’t pay any attention to their daily outfits, GQ sent out their fashion editors to upgrade the participant’s style.
Zooey Deschanel, Agy Deyn, Irina Lazareanu, Vanessa Paradis; the fashion world is known for it’s adopting of a different muse for each different season. However, while most muses can be linked by their quirky style, elfin features and statement look, Wallace & Gromit really stand out from the crowd.
That hasn’t stopped Harvey Nichols from enlisting their modeling talent for their latest campaign and decked out in D&G shirts, Alexander McQueen suits, Paul Smith scarfs and Ray Ban Wafarers, I’m actually quite jealous!

The mood is light yet determined and spray-in-the-face cool. Imagine sea-side escapades (emphasis on the imagine) and sand between your toes as you loosely raise that striped knit from your oversized Jil Sander mesh-holdall.
With guidebook and ability to say thank-you in tow, I was an innocent tourist. At least that was until I saw him from across the road. The letters emblazoned on his back in plush gold velvet shone with insecurity- “Vagina Lover.” Welcome to testosterone Euroflash-style.
Just last night, the city of London was buzzing with the excitement of celebrity; that of the glorious Kate Hudson and heavily scent-sponsored Matthew McConaughey. Now I’m not going to lie and pretend that Mr. McConaughey isn’t one of my favourite actors because well, even I don’t get that offended by sticking to the sartorial sidelines.
For some weird reason, Grey jeans are still hard to come by. That’s what makes these Dolce & Gabbana light jeans a god/allah/thereisnogod-send. While I love trousers, they can be slightly too flimsy for my tastes.
The next look to make our list is the awkward length. This was a hard one to put into this feature as some do manage to pull it off but not everyone is Terence Koh and it only took a look at the local fashionisto’s crash and burn outfit of Kriss van Assche-style combat with tight tee to know that this was one to be hastily put down.
