As usual Will is on the money with his trapper hat outfit pick, but here are a few more to choose from for this winter.

Love The Look: Mark Ronson at Vivienne Westwood

Mark Ronson has always been a tiptop fashion star and this year has been awash with his sartorial influence. From the stripes and Mod look of early 2008 to the sharp tailoring in kooky fabrics. From the ’50s rock-star (read: Elvis) to the fur-clad aristo-geek.

Now, Ronson is taking it upon himself to lead the way with the trapper-hat wearer, ‘Lightspeed Champion,’ look as first established by our (soon to depart-) Jason Dike. Mark looked great at Vivienne Westwood’s after-show party last night with his fur-lined coat, oversized glasses and slick boots.

Asos Ltd 100 Sheepskin Drape Coat

By admin on June 20th, 2008

sheepskincoat.jpgThe ASOS ltd 100 collection, their collaboration with designers from London College of Fashion, has been available online since June 16th and most of it has been bought already. Out of the pieces left, the best has to be this Sheepskin drape coat.

Most sheepskin coats stink of 70′s TV cops and John Motson, but this one manages to avoid that smell completely – instead giving off a strong fashion forward whiff. There’s no doubt that this coat is extravagant and would be too much for some people, but it retains a wearability that other fur coats just don’t have. The only downside is the £350 price tag, but if you can afford it then it would make a great standout piece.

Beard mask will shield your shame

By admin on May 27th, 2008

beardwear beard cover.jpgBeing a woman I’ve never had to cope with beard angst, moustache angst maybe, but I totally feel for you if you have a smooth babysoft chin and crave manly face fur.

Which is why I’ve unearthed this beard cover to hide your shame (39 EUR). It’s the brainchild of Aamu Song and Johan Olin, two Finns who make a variety of exciting things. I think it doubles up as a nifty tan template, wear it all summer for an oddball tan line which will detract from your bald visage.
