Giles Deacon’s second range for New Look hits stores on the 15th

Giles Deacon for New Look, one of the few designer X high street collaborations for men returns next week with another collection, featuring a selection of shirts, t-shirts, jeans and knits.

We like that the New Look collections are a chance to see Deacon’s lighter take on fashion with witty t-shirt prints and bright colours. Hopefully we’ll see see pieces which push boundaries a little more in future collections but as always it’s baby steps for menswear.

Fashionista is stating that Katie Grand’s new LOVE magazine (published by Cond√© Nast,) is a “beacon of hope for the dying magazine industry and its dwindling fashion counterpart.” Well, it may be a beacon of hope for the magazine industry but Grand and her brilliant team have decided to get a head start with a very low-key blog.

The masthead of the magazine was revealed today and a look through the blog revealed such gems as Giles Deacon posing with a pair of Scotch-Egg-Glasses (the ‘it’ accessory of next season?) and fashion editors Francesca Burns and Victoria Young with the likes of Simon Cowelland David Walliams!

Giles Deacon‘s first ever menswear collection hit the shops yesterday, the 25-piece collection is made up of wearable wardrobe basics. T-shirts, jeans, jackets and shirts are all given the Giles touch with neon detailing and gold chains. This is good news for men’s fashion as it seems that every designer/high street collab now has a menswear range, and not a minute too soon.
