Henry Holland gives Levi’s the 90210 treatment

By admin on September 2nd, 2008

hoh_90210levisannounce.jpgFrom Catwalk Queen:
House of Holland is once again teaming up with Levi’s for a six-piece capsule collection, which has been inspired by Beverly Hills 90210.

Being a tribute to 90210 , does that mean we can expect a bit of stone-wash, mum-waist, rolled-up jean a la Dylan McKay style? Hmm… perhaps not.

Pieces will feature print and laser-cut jeans style, making use of floral and polka dot designs.

Just like his debut range for the denim brand, Holland will showcase his new collection at his forthcoming London Fashion Week show on September 17th. Only this time, they will go straight into Selfridges for sale the day after the show.

Talk about hot off the catwalk.

Trends: Watch & Wear- A Daily Dose of Dalí

By Will Reid on March 10th, 2008

00100m_2From Dalí’s lobster phones and melting clock faces to Damien Hirst’s butterfly works- Surrealism is something that we can’t seem to get out of our systems. We buy into the singers who prance around in vintage band uniforms (Gwen) and the art but something we rarely show an interest in is surrealist fashion.

The reason? It’s just too embarrassing to pop down to Tesco’s with a pair of devil horns protruding from your well-styled scalp. Well not anymore. This post will allow you to test the look without looking visually-testing and trust me when I tell you that it is easier than you think.  See after the jump for more information on where this look began and (wearable) items you can put on your shopping list to mimic it.

House of Holland piss take

By Isabelle on April 10th, 2007

Hohtee
Fashionista have posted this hilarious tribute to the House of Holland tees conceived by blogger Gary Littley. Now they did have some hoo-ha before about Topshop ripping Holland off, and apparently fake House of Holland t-shirts are cropping up all over the place but the joke one is surely my favourite. I think the next spin-off should be a children’s car game where you have to come up with more t-shirt slogans. Although perhaps without the sexual references.
