Ray-Bans were last year’s hit sunnies, but this year maybe try something a little more anonymous?


Next‘s orange sunglasses retail at £12, and despite the lack of branding still have a distinctive retro look. The orange frames look great with a tan and there’s a nice clash going on with the purple lenses. My summer romance with deck shoes was coming to an end but then Kurt Geiger’s ‘Lost Sounds’ shoes (£55) appeared on the scene and made me reconsider my winter strategy. First of all they’re three tone which is always a surefire bet for a good shoe, and the colours themselves are a tonal duo of greys with a shot of orange guaranteed to beat the winter blues.

Worn with a pair of socks in a clashing bright or a stripy grey this is a summer romance that might make it till next spring.
