Diesel Underdenim underwear is for low slacks, not “Never Nude” dudes

Under…denims? That’s the new underwear push from Diesel, who’ve put together a new range of “Underdenim” trunks for men who like to wear their slacks low with a bit of cheek on show, otherwise known as the “Most Dumbest Fashion Fad Eva”.

Misleading marketing be-damned, they’re made of cotton rather than denim (which we’re certain your knackers will be thankful for), and are designed to blend in with your jeans if you’re “riding low batty”.

The argument then surely is to just invest in a belt instead and keep your trousers pulled up, but then we’d all look like Tories or something is what I assume is being inferred here.

Yours for £20 a pop from Diesel, we’re just a little bit disappointed that they don’t have a touch more influence from  Tobias “Never Nude” Funke of Arrested Development fame:

135 Years of Jockey

By Laura on March 29th, 2011

Last week Brandish was invited to celebrate 135 years of Jockey Underwear, at an impressive international catwalk show. The show saw the brand go back to its roots, showcasing a number of heritage pieces from its original collection in 1879, before introducing some of Jockey’s more updated collections for A/W 2011.

GQ Editor Dylan Jones, hosted the night and provided the audience with product highlights from Jockey’s 135 history, from its beginnings with predecessor Samuel T Cooper and classic all-in-ones, to the space underwear created for NASA and the 3D Innovations collection of today.

The Models moved through different eras through in a highly choreographed show, that even featured dubstep at one point. The new collections that were revealed within the catwalk, included the latest USA Originals range, meant to encapsulate the ‘American Way of Life’, the Urban Luxury range and Countryside range, representing the North American outdoors.

Overall it was a great night and a really fun way to not only see how Jockey have grown as a brand, but how their product has really developed over the years. Trust me, I am glad no one is rocking the onesy anymore!

Baggy trousers: the return of pleated pants

By Colin Chapman on February 23rd, 2009

Fashion, as we know, goes in cycles. Thus, after a good few years of thigh-constriction thanks to the skinny jean, the newest shapes for men’s trousers this Spring seem to be all about giving us space to breathe. Whether carrot, balloon, wide-leg or harem the look from waist down is all about having some extra fabric to move in.

James Corden strips off Beckham-style for Heat magazine

By admin on May 13th, 2008

James Corden, the star of the BBC3 hit sitcom Gavin and Stacey stripped off for a Heat magazine photoshoot parodying David Beckham’s infamous Armani ads. Corden is pictured reclining on an artfully rumpled sheet complete with a comically enhanced package, greased up limbs and moody stare.

Don’t know about you, but I actually think I prefer the Corden version, he’d be much more fun to hang out with, no offence Becks! If you’ve never seen Gavin and Stacey check out the highly amusing clip after the jump.

David Beckham dons slim fitting suit

By Isabelle on January 8th, 2008

David Beckham’s outfit leaves a lot more to the imagination than his
recent underwear ad for Armani
and I must say I quite like this look.
It’s very a formal outfit but the fitted proportions make it more
wearable and I love the silhouette it creates.

Some of my Shiny
colleagues were shocked by the tightness of the kecks but they’re so
well cut he can get away with it. His shirt sleeve garters are a nice detail and I love the high-cut waistcoat. It’s just a shame I can’t heap any praise on his wife’s ‘highlighter pen’ outfit. Click on the thumbnail to enlarge picture.

Bulge enhancing pants from Aussie Bum

By Isabelle on April 11th, 2007

Wonderjock

Why should women get all the curve boosting technology? It’s tit for tat in the body fakery stakes as Aussie Bum have come up with their Wonderjock technology that lifts and enhances your ‘area’. There’s no padding as Wonderjock designer Sean Ashby explained: "The design of the underwear, separates and lifts. The fabric cup
protrudes everything out in front instead of down toward the ground. There is no padding, rings or strings." Selling 50,000 in it’s first week the Wonderjock pants have proved incredibly popular and at just £8.50 it’s little wonder.
