So the news is in and the votes have been counted. Barack Obama is now the US president but he was always undisputedly the most stylish candidate in the race.
His trademark tall and lean look is accentuated by his uniform of slim-fitting suits and petrol blue fabric which complemented his colouring perfectly. There was a lot of fuss made over his wife Michelle’s sharp sartorial decisions but here is the man himself in picutres.

I want Barack Obama to become the President of the USA. I do. Honestly.
However, telling you guys is enough for me and I don’t feel the need to have his name plastered across each of my outfits. Benji Madden turned up to a Diesel’s 30th Birthday in New York having heavily invested in the trend for Obama-slogan clothes and his political tuppence worth came in the form of a print tee.

Designer Spotlight, Entertainment, Heroes and Celebrities

When I saw this image on Hypebeast this morning, I instantly wanted to put it on Brandish and have it sent right round the world on some type of banner. Unfortunately, I found out 5 minutes later that the hotel I’m staying at (Grand Hyatt Mumbai,) has given the entire floor above me to a call centre which means that it takes my computer about half an hour to Google something and the thought of uploading a picture onto Movable Type almost brings me to tears.
Anyway here it is: a picture sure to go down in fashion history.

This is quite an old story, but a good one. Tom Bihn, a US bag manufacturer inserted an short message about the president in their French washing instructions which translates as: "We are sorry our president is an idiot. We didn’t vote for him." Despite the company’s unwillingness to reveal who was behind the stunt and weak explanation that the label was in fact about CEO Tom BIhn they released a t-shirt with said washing instructions which raised money for the Seattle Vet Centre.
