Wallace poses in a Paul Smith suit and Gromit sits with a Duchamp scarf and pair of Ray Ban ‘Wayfarers.’

Zooey Deschanel, Agy Deyn, Irina Lazareanu, Vanessa Paradis; the fashion world is known for it’s adopting of a different muse for each different season. However, while most muses can be linked by their quirky style, elfin features and statement look, Wallace & Gromit really stand out from the crowd.

That hasn’t stopped Harvey Nichols from enlisting their modeling talent for their latest campaign and decked out in D&G shirts, Alexander McQueen suits, Paul Smith scarfs and Ray Ban Wafarers, I’m actually quite jealous!

Read on for more details and pictures- it’s worth it, trust me!

Celeb Style: Steve Jones’ Summer Lovin’

By Will Reid on August 20th, 2008

stevejones.jpgSteve Jones was seen on Monday with rumoured new girlfriend Fearne Cotton. A stylish, undoubtedly TV-friendly pair, I have to admit that I actually think Steve is better dressed on this particular date.

Let’s start with the leather jacket- this staple item is unexpectedly hard to pull off (without looking like a T-Bird; never a good look.) Jones’ version is masculine yet still on trend and the slim-fit detail means that your swagger won’t be shapeless. The white canvas brogues are a perfect summer piece and can be worn on holiday with a pair of shorts or actually in the UK with jeans, as seen here. Add black Wayfarer-style glasses and run the risk of looking like a trend-victim or try a non-Ray Ban style and be all-out original, fashion quirkiness will get you a Brandish A-Grade.

This month’s 10 essentials featuring Fantastic Man, Purple Magazine and GQ Style

By admin on June 25th, 2008

There’s an embarrassment of riches on the 10 essentials front as the staff of Fantastic Man, Purple Fashion and GQ Style all chip in with their lists. Founders of Fantastic Man Gert Jonkers and Jop Van Bennekom have the kind of choices you’d expect them to have, with their own pair of jeans, embroidered chinos and Hardy Amies’ ‘ABC of Men’s fashion’ all making the list.

Purple cofounder Oliver Zahm’s list is very classic Hollywood, as he lists a YSL leather jacket, Ray Bans and a Honda 750 motorbike. GQ Style’s creative director David Bradshaw has a simpler list than both the aforementioned, listing a crossroads bike, his back garden and his wedding ring. He also mentions some Tom Ford sunglasses, reminding you that he does work at GQ style.

Ksubi Aviators

I would say it’s a bit premature to start
looking at sunglasses, but then I realised that we’ve been looking and A/W 08
collections for the last few months. We’re probably very late in talking about
something that we’ll only wear in a couple of month’s time. So, in conclusion,
it’s actually a perfect time to start looking at sunglasses.

The classic aviator design has never been
toppled as the sunglass choice for men, despite several pretenders to the
crown. Ksubi realised
this and built on the original design, instead of trying to change it. These
are also available in gold, black and white. You can get these from the googletastic Ksubi website for
£112
.
