When even River Island is doing short shorts you know a trend has hit the mainstream. They’re a wallet-pleasing £21 which is the right price for trying something out
Now I know for a fact that I wasn’t the only one disappointed with Met Gala-attending celebrities lack of Superhero costume inspiration. In fact, Zac Posen was the only attendee who matched up to my high standards of fancy-dress. Therefore, I was delighted when I came across this River Island cap with Marvel Comic decoration (Persil, Armani, River Island- what isn’t Marvel on at the moment!)
It’s well known that while the UK high street is second to none for women it’s still lagging behind for menswear. Things have improved recently but there is still a blokey pub-lad feel at some of the chains.

I mentioned yesterday that knee high shorts aren’t easy to carry off, but it’s a bit of a dilemma because purely from a fashion (rather than comfort) perspective 3/4 length trousers are looking a bit dated.
This might be the last thing on your mind but Easter Weekend is the perfect time to stock up on new summer clothes.
