Asics and Solebox team up to produce Sportstyle trainer

It seems like Asics are going mad for UV at the moment, their vintage offshoot Onitsuka Tiger released the glowing Electric Tiger Land and now in conjunction with cult Berlin shop Solebox they have released the UV reactive Sportstyle trainer.
Treated with a special photochromatic ink the stripes change from silver to purple in the light. Why purple? Well it’s Solebox’s trademark colour and I think it’s nicely different for a men’s shoe. After the initial Solebox launch in August 350 pairs of the shoes went on sale at the end of September at Ryouki in Norwich, Hanon-Shop in Oxford, and Limited Editions in Aberdeen.
