By admin on October 24th, 2008

Ever been curious to step into the mind of one of fashion’s designer geniuses? Be curious no more, as you can find out what makes Yves Saint Laurent creative director Stefano Pilati tick when he pops over to London next week to speak at the London College of Fashion.

Part of the Sunday Times Style lecture series, Pilati will participate in a question-and-answer session on October 29 about his climb to the top of the fashion world – and, not being one to mince words (see: “Tom [Ford] is talented but not gifted”) you can bet it’ll be interesting to say the least!

* Tickets are £20 (plus a £2.50 booking fee) and are available by either phoning +44 (0)844 209 0371 or you can book online at www.timesonline.co.uk/fashion.

By admin on June 18th, 2008

yves saint laurent dover street market stefano pilati.jpgThe dust has barely settled at Chanel’s five floor residence of Dover Street Market and we’ve got wind of another designer houseguest at DSM.

Yves Saint Laurent is going to take over DSM from July 3rd in a space created by set designer Michael Howells, who has worked on fashion shows for McQueen, Galliano and Lacroix and with Vogue and POP.

Edition 24 is a capsule collection of garments inspired by travel and will be constantly updated with new items. Stefano Pilati, YSL’s creative director will also be adding customised Edition 24 items on a regular basis.
