Nicola Formichetti, the fashion extraordinaire and creative director of Dazed & Confused, writes an awesome blog which he manages to update almost three times a week. With pictures from his various trips, nights out, karaoke parties and Tokyo fashion-fests, the blog is a treasure trove of great images and this is no different. The pic was only put up yesterday morning and it shows some of Nicola’s friends posing on a night out in London. I love the leopard-print beanie of the fashionisto on the left and the fur collar of the guy on the right looks like a necessary luxury for the altogether depressing Baltic temperatures we have been feeling in recent times.

Go to Nicola’s blog for more pictures of his glamourous life!

Life begins at (Dirty) Thirty

By Jonathan Smith on October 5th, 2008

Life begins at 30, or so they say- I’m 24 and I beg to differ. Come my 30th birthday I will become a recluse until my 50th and can rejoin society with a cane and pipe, because middle age just isn’t cool. However for a denim brand a 30th birthday is the prime of its youth so lets all send our warmest birthday wishes to Italian denim fiends Diesel.

To mark their 30th birthday Diesel launch their “Dirty Thirty” campaign a multi-city, multi-time zone, uber-party kicking off in Tokyo on the 11th of this very month and to commemorate the occasion for one day only will be a limited edition super cheap pair of Diesel denim jeans costing a zany €30. The jeans will be available from 10am this Friday in select Diesel stores and it is expected that they will sell out bloody quick, so pull your finger out and get down early if you want to get your hands on the cheapest, most exclusive jeans of this season.

3.1 Phillip Lim Tokyo flagship store

By admin on May 22nd, 2008

I’m not one to make assumptions, but I’m gonna go out on a limb here and assume that the majority of the Brandish readership aren’t based in Tokyo. Nevertheless, if you are lucky enough to be in Tokyo, then you’ll be interested to know that 3.1 Phillip Lim has opened up a flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo.

If you aren’t in Japan or New York, then these pictures should serve as a taste of what a Phillip Lim store would look like if there was one in your town. Check out another picture after the jump.

Travel smart with One True Saxon

By admin on February 12th, 2008

Are you a fan of killing two birds with one
stone? In a figurative sense of course, we don’t condone bird-murdering on
Brandish. One True Saxon‘s
spring/summer range has popped up online and they’ve made a travel brochure
that features a city soundtrack, bars, restaurants, clubs and places to start a
fight before yelling ‘Leave it Dave, He’s not worth it!’. Maybe not that last
one.

Cities in the guide include Madrid, Sydney,
London, New York, Tokyo and erm, Nottingham. You can view the new range at Goodnorth.com.
