Nicola recently featured images from his latest shoot with Slimane for Hedi Slimane.com. The Fashionisto has reported that Oki-ni is redesigning their website today and he has a quote from Pete Hellyer, Oki-ni Design Manager.
“While the products and mix has been constantly evolving the site has remained pretty much the same. 18 months on from the re-launch, what worked then…now doesn’t. We felt that it was time for a change, an evolution that puts the site on par with the products. And we hope that you agree.”
Prepare yourself for brilliant new labels, a blog, fashion archives and designer profiles. All exciting stuff, for sure!

For me, the Sartorialist is often ‘Hail or Fail’ in that sometimes I want to literally hunt down the people in his photographs to steal their outfits and sometimes I just want to hunt them down and …hurt them? Anyways, I can’t decided with the photo to the left. While I love the proportion play of the trench and tight, knit waistcoat and the relatively baggy trousers tucked into the boots, I’m not as convinced by the Autumnal colour scheme.
Am I the only one who thinks this fashionisto needs a pop of bright colour? Vote Yay or Nay after the jump.

New kid on the publishing block, Buck Magazine has a great interview with John Skelton the creative director of London based fashion website Oki-Ni. The Interview is in depth and covers the whole gamut of menswear and retail answering some burning questions for the consumer such as what Oki-Ni means in Japanese, Buck also gets John to pick his top products from Oki-Ni- some of which are pictured above.
This is another great piece from Buck and a great start for the fledgling magazine which making waves and only on its second issue.

Gianni Agnelli is a man constantly sourced as style inspiration to fashionistos across the world. From his flair for fine tailoring to his edgy take on accessories, this man had a look that was extremely well-executed and so timeless that it is still being copied on the catwalks of today. Agnelli’s grandson, Lapo Elkann, continues to wear all of Agnelli’s bespoke suits and it is no coincidence that Elkann has, in recent years, been hailed as a modern style icon by the likes of US Vogue and Esquire.
The article is full of great style advice such as, “if you want to dress like an iconoclast, your first step is to dismiss all of the old rules of fashion — just like Gianni Agnelli did when he wore his wristwatch over his sleeve cuff.”

The H&M Comme des Garçons collab website has gone live and it has prices and everything! Speaking of the prices it all seems to be reasonable and has certainly piqued my curiosity enough to put a mark in my diary for the worldwide release which is of course 13th of November.
The collection does genuinely look really nice and far better than the usual H&M attempts. I usually don’t buy into the business of convenient collaborations between high fashion and high street but this one has really grabbed me by the balls so I can only recommend that you get yourself down to one of the select H&M stores on the release date.
Check the website here.
