We’re gearing up for an exciting day of menswear shows next Wednesday as part of London Fashion Week but in the meantime here’s our compilation of the best of the rest from New York.
Let us know what you think of the NYFW shows on our Facebook Wall, which was your favourite?
Denim has been rife on the catwalks of this season with many big-name designers putting out denim tuxedos, denim waistcoats and even denim shirts (okay, that’s not too odd.) I, myself, have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this timeless fabric and I think it’s safe to say I’ve explored it thoroughly!
Being the face of a Givenchy fragrance pretty much cements you as a style star (not that I would know but one must work on assumption when speaking of Britney-dating, ex-N*Sync stars!) Well, I was bitterly disappointed in Justin Timberlake’s outfit at the Fashion Rocks concert last week. JT wore a grey blazer from his new ‘William Rast’ range and a pair of hideous turn-up jeans with an odd silk tie- seemingly cut in half.
Is it just me who’s shocked by this lack of style sense? Vote in our poll below!
I love his vintage-looking blazer as well as his loafers and with an open shirt and a pair of well-tailored grey shorts, he is a vision of relaxed but high-fashion cool.
Notice the subtle pocket-square (an emblem of any well-dressed male) and devour this style inspiration.

Justin Timberlake is going to be busy this New York Fashion Week, as well a putting on a William Rast show the singer is performing at Fashion Rocks and at the Roseland Ballroom as models strut the catwalk for his A/W collection.
Timberlake has been running WIlliam Rast along with childhood friend and business partner Trace Ayala for two years in October. J Lindeberg founder Johan Lindeberg and his wife Marcella were called in as creative directors to the brand last year and this Autumn’s show will be the second under their directorship.
Having next to no interest in celebrity clothing lines, I paid no attention to Justin Timberlake’s William Rast line. I’m slightly more interested after finding out that Johan and Marcella Lindeberg were the creative directors of the line. There’s an interesting interview with Johan about the line on Sportswear international.
In the interview he states that “William Rast has a strong language and a special touch. It shows an urban look with a very body-conscious and tough attitude, but with a tailored twist”.
